Yesterday I talked about Three Benefits of Stretching. Today let’s take a deeper look into the importance of warming up before exercise. Many people ignore the warm up stage before working out not knowing the consequences it can have. So let’s dive right in and talk more in depth about why we should warm up.

Stretching is definitely something I need to work on more. Since I’ve started exercising recently I haven’t been taking the time to do any stretches beforehand and I can definitely feel the muscle tension and soreness. Most people know what stretching is but just in case let’s start with a basic definition of it.

It’s been a lot easier adjusting to this whole healthy eating, losing weight things this time around for some reason. I’m not sure why. Maybe I’m just really serious this time around.

I’ve been so busy working on Virtual Assistant projects gearing up to head out of town (tomorrow! woo hooo! can you tell I’m just a tad bit excited?) that I didn’t get up early enough this morning to have my fave little videographer record my weigh in this morning. I was going to try to do it myself but my scale is a little on the retarded side and the least little bit of movement gives me an E (error) message. So all that just to say I’ll be doing it tomorrow morning before getting my little videographer out the door to school, before I head out for my road trip!

Yesterday I posted about needing your help for some suggestions on how I can eat out for a week, with my upcoming trip to NAMS, and do it healthy. There were several of you that took the time to comment and give me some tips – thank you ladies
Anyways. I think I have somewhat of an action plan in place. I don’t feel 100% confident still about eating out everyday for a week but I feel a little better now that I have some ideas.

I will be leaving next Tuesday to go out of town for a week.
I’m heading to Atlanta, Georgia with some fellow Michiganders who also happen to be work at home moms.
We are going to a conference called Niche Affiliate Marketing Systems.

I honestly can’t believe how much I’m loving the Wii Fit Plus! At first (before I bought it) I was a bit skeptical about how much of a workout you really could get on a ‘video game’. Then again the little activity I thought I would get on the Wii was better than what I was getting – none!
But much to my amazement I’m happy to say that I’m getting at least 30 minutes (usually an hour) of activity a day with the Wii. The times I workout for an hour I burn right around 460 calories. Not too shabby for a ‘video game’!
