Before And After Weight Loss Photos – 38 lbs Down

Things have slowed down a lot in the weight loss department. I’ve had a couple weekends in a row where I’ve went on major binge eating sessions. I’ve managed to get right back on track each Monday after the weekend episodes but now today I’m just feeling “tired” of Weight Watchers and the whole healthy lifestyle. I’m lacking motivation to exercise, etc. I’m just in a really big funk and it sucks!

So I decided to check out a few before and after pictures because there’s nothing more motivating than seeing the difference in myself when I look at pictures.

Before Losing 38 lbs & After Losing 38 lbs (April 2010) (kind of hard to really tell cause I’m sitting down in the 1st pic):

Before & After Headshot (oh how I wish the rest of my body was getting as thin as my face!!!!):

So what do you do when you’re feeling lack of motivation? What keeps you going when you’re just feeling ‘tired’?

  1. You look GREAT!! 🙂

When I get in any kind of a funk, when I feel tired of “being healthy”, I just remind myself that living a healthy lifestyle is the ultimate in self-care. I care for myself because I love myself….and usually after a little reminding of this, I’m ready to get back to it. 🙂

  2. You look great 🙂 Me too I’d like my body to thin as much as my face.

Me too lately I’m lacking motivation to exercise. I have to get back at the elliptical.

I stop counting calories. I was tired of doing it. It was more stressful.

Now I eat when I’m hungry and I stop eating when I’m satisfied. That way I can eat what I want. And I don’t weight myself anymore. Maybe in a few weeks, I’ll see.

Scorpio Woman – It does get tiring counting calories and things like that! Eating when you’re hungry and stopping when you’re full is a great way to go about things 🙂

When I get in a funk, I remember my why. My why was strong enough to get me going and keep me going for several months and remembering it and rehearsing it can help me through. I remember that I’ve not been promised an easy go of it, but I can rely on the fact that its impossible to do the right thing and not get the right results. Keep on keepin’ on, girl!

The why factor is definitely a great point to bring up and really important to dig deep into what our why is. Thanks for reminding me of that!

Hi Shelly. I’d like to say I kept that weight off…but I didn’t. I gained it all back. But I’ve been back on track for a few weeks now and have lost about 16 of those lbs!
