My Very First Pedicure – A Video

Ok so I know this has nothing to do with weight loss or anything but I still had to share. The gals will understand my excitement - the guys not so much. LOL

I’ve never had a pedicure before…ever! Until today that is. And I can’t believe I’ve deprived myself of this treat for so long. I have this thing with my feet being touched so I’ve always shied away from having one done. But on my personal blog, Adventures of a Single WAHM (work at home mom), back in January when I made a commitment to myself one of the goals I put down was to have a pedicure.

My 35th birthday is tomorrow, Saturday the 20th, and my friend Kelly surprised me with a pedicure today! I was really nervous but once the lady got started I was like “oh my gosh how could I have been so nervous about something that feels so amazing and relaxing?” She just laughed at me! But I was serious! I still can’t stop thinking about the excitement of having it done! Now I’m eagerly awaiting my next one that I scheduled in 3 weeks!

While at the salon the new massage therapist was talking to us and she mentioned that because she’s new and trying to build up her clientele that she’s running a special until March - a 1 hour massage for $25.00! So guess what I’m doing next Friday? Yep! I’m getting a full body massage. I can’t wait!

So I totally feel all girly right now! My toes are so pretty I can’t stop looking at them. LOL

I wanted to get the French pedicure but she said that she wanted to wait until I grew my toenails out a little bit (I tend to cut my toenails really short and she said I need to let them grow out! I was like that’s gonna be weird but ok lol). So maybe in 3 weeks they’ll be long enough!

So ladies if you haven’t had a pedicure before or it’s been awhile since you last one I’m telling you to go get one right now or pick up the phone call your salon & schedule one immediately!

    Happy (belated) Birthday!!! Your toes look so very pretty! A 1-hour massage is a STEAL and I would kill for one right now! :-)

      Thank you for the birthday wishes :-) For once I actually liked looking at my feet! LOL Can’t wait to get my next pedicure. I’ll be going for the massage tomorrow…uhm today actually. It was supposed to be Friday but I had to reschedule it for today (bummer! lol).
