Reality Check Weigh In

If you’ve been following along over here at my quaint little place in cyber space you know I’ve been on this healthy journey since January 2010 but over the last month, just over a month, I’ve really been at a low point.
I haven’t posted weekly weigh in videos (or pictures) in quite awhile even though I’ve snapped pics of the scale! I said it’s because I haven’t had the time to post them…hahahaha what a lame a** excuse! It’s more like the fact that I haven’t been impressed with the weigh in’s and I’ve chosen to NOT make the time to post them.
So without further adue here are my past 3 weigh in’s including today’s REALITY CHECK weigh in (not pretty!):

Today’s weigh in was NOT pretty but it was totally the REALITY CHECK that I needed!

Total Loss To Date: 49.6 lbs
Ouch! That was definitely a bit hard to see but a couple weekends ago I was talking to a Weight Watchers leader that I know and she said something to me about me being off track with my eating. She said sometimes we just all need to take a ‘vacation’ but you MUST decide when you’re getting off the vacation and getting back on track! She also told me if you have to pick a number and do NOT let yourself gain more than that back, once you hit that number then you know you HAVE to get back on track.
I’ve been on ‘vacation’ far too long now (since May 28th – Memorial Day weekend!) and it’s time to get back on track. I picked the number 10 and I’m way too close to having gained that back so it’s definitely time to get back on track





49.6 pounds since January? Wow! That is so awesome, Tishia. You deserve a big pat on the back. Look at the big picture. You are doing remarkably well. We all have our set backs from time to time. You’ve recognized yours. Now it’s time to kick some more booty.

Thanks Kim. I definitely liked my numbers better when I was down 56 pounds but I’m NOT going to complain. I think 49.6 lbs since January is great so I’m going to celebrate that accomplishment. And you’re right – like Nike says “just do it” that’s what I’m going to do from here on out, kick some more booty
