Week #4 Weigh In
4 Feb
Hey everyone! I’m back with my 4th week’s weigh in. It’s a few days late but that’s because I was traveling back from Atlanta, Georgia on Monday and Tuesday. I was going to weigh in on Wednesday but I was pretty bloated and puffy feeling - assuming it was from being in the car so much and lack of stretching, etc.
Whether waiting one more day made a difference or not I don’t know. I’m excited to see that I still ended up with a loss after eating out every single meal for 7 straight days! I proved to myself that I can control my food choices no matter where I’m at or how hard I think it is.
The hotel we stayed at didn’t have a huge option for food choices - they mainly served a buffet style menu. The key I found was to not skip things I wanted but to allow myself to have them in MODERATION! I tried a little bit of this and a little bit of that! I even allowed myself to have a couple bites of desserts here and there!
Here’s this week’s weigh in video:
Once again I have NO make-up on and my hair isn’t done. I’m still exhausted from traveling plus I came home sick (sore throat, earache, stuffy head, chest congestion, etc) so dolling myself up for a video this morning was the last thing on my mind.
I’m really proud of myself. I learned a lot this past week being away from home. I didn’t exercise as much as I planned - lack of sleep had a lot to do with that. The other thing I could have done without (and possibly had a bigger weight loss this week) was the alcohol.
How are you doing on your weight loss journey so far?

15 pounds is FABULOUS! Congratulations Tishia! Hope you all had a great time in Atlanta.

Tisha that is amazing! I haven’t weighed myself in I don’t know how long LOL but I felt I did OK traveling last week as well. I split a lot of my breakfast meals with Danielle and I did workout 2 days while at the hotel plus some walking. Felt like a good week.
Can’t wait until Aug. because it will be nice there and we can walk outside (need a walking buddy though) and swim if the pool isn’t too crowded. For that big of a hotel, I thought the pool would have been much bigger.
Let’s work on a goal for Aug. Of course, I’ll be running consistently and doing spin class but my goal is to start strength training 2-3x a week. I would love to see a 20 lb loss by NAMS.

Shannon Thanks! Atlanta was a lot of fun!
Kelly Awwwh thank you
Angie Yeah we should definitely check out the pool…well maybe NOT! LOL Doubt I’ll be ready to put myself in a suit by then! We’ll definitely have to work on something we can do everyday while there in August (walking, workout room, something).
