Weight Watchers Week #6 Weigh In

Weight Watchers has been going pretty good (I keep forgetting to post my weekly weigh in’s from those meetings because I’m so used to publishing a weigh in post on Mondays for the PSB (plus size bloggers) contest I’m doing).

I had a brilliant idea that even though on WW I can pretty much eat whatever I want as long as I track points that I would still give myself one free day a week (Saturdays) to..well be ‘free’ and not track points or write foods down.

The first couple weeks that worked ok. But the last couple weeks it hasn’t went so well. The one free day has rolled over into free weekends and indulging in whatever I want. So, after some serious journaling Sunday night and a lot of reflection about things I decided I can’t give myself the freedom of having a ‘free’ day. I need to track and write everything down every single day!

Starting: 292 lbs
Week #1: 286.2 lbs
(down 5.8 lbs)
Week #2: 281.8 (down 4.4 lbs)
Week #3: 278.8 (down 3 lbs)
Week #4: 277.6 (down 1.2)
Week #5: 273.4 (down 4.2 lbs)

I just have to say I had no idea that you could lose weight in the neck area. I mean now that I think about it, it makes sense but I never really thought about it before and couldn’t figure out why for the PSB challenge they wanted our beginning neck measurement! lol

Arm: 16 (stayed the same)
Bust: 54 1/2 (lost 1/2 inch)
Stomach: 54 1/2 (lost 1 inch)
Hips: 51 (lost 1 inch)
Thigh: 28 3/4 (lost 1/4 of an inch)
Neck: 15 1/2 (lost 1 inch)
Total Inches Lost: 3.75 inches

Plus Size Bloggers Weigh In: October 25

Here we go…week #3 (I guess I got confused on week s somewhere along the way already because apparently last week’s weigh in was week #2 not week #1) weigh in for the Plus Size Bloggers Fall 15 Challenge!

I just started my journey on Thursday night the 7th when I joined Weight Watchers. My “official” weigh in days will be Thursday nights at my Weight Watchers meetings but for this contest I have to weigh in and post on Mondays.

Things are going ok. I was super busy this weekend with my son’s football and then my sister in law’s baby shower so I didn’t eat the greatest (although Saturdays are my ‘free’ days so that’s ok) and I didn’t get in any exercise. So it wasn’t surprising to have a lower loss this week…not that 3.6 lbs is bad! I’m totally happy with that.

Weight Watchers Week #2 Weigh In

Tonight’s meeting went ok … probably would have been better if I wasn’t upset when I got there (my son’s dad was being a jerk at parent teacher conferences and it’s always my fault when our son is struggling in school & apparently because he’s getting a D- in math I’m not doing a good enough parenting job…yeah don’t even get me started!)

After two weeks of following the program and exercising like a crazy woman I had a good loss! I am down another 4.4lbs.

Week #2: 281.8 (down 4.4 lbs)
GRAND TOTAL LOST: 10.2

I received a I Lost 10 Pounds book mark and another 5 lb sticker.  For 2 weeks I’m doing pretty good. Having a hard time meeting my daily points. A couple of the ladies at the WW meeeting tonight gave me some suggestions on how to fix that.

I’m definitely not going to complain about those numbers :-) But, it sure seems like I should have lost like 50 lbs already with all the working out I’ve been doing. LOL Considering I pigged out on Saturday (my ‘free’ day) I’m really actually quite impressed that I pulled that big of a loss this morning when I weighed in!

Weight Watchers Week #1 Weigh In

Tonight’s meeting went great. After one week of following the program and exercising like a crazy woman I had a great loss! I am down 5.8 lbs.

I received 2 bravo stickers for doing some of the strategies we talked about at last weeks meeting. Then I received a 5lb sticker.

Cheezy I know, but they made me grin none the less.

The challenge I will work on this week:

  • Drinking less Diet Coke

I’ve been drinking at least one a day, sometimes two. My goal for this week is to have only 3-4 all week. Eventually I want to get back to the point of NOT drinking pop at all.

The tools and/or strategies I will use are:

  • Replace Diet Coke with water or tea
  • Fill up my cup (I always get fountain pops – don’t care for them out of a can) only 1/2 way when I do drink one

Not too bad for having only a couple days on the Weight Watchers program. My goal this week is to increase my water intake. Before I started this weight loss/exercising journey again I was drinking a ton of pop again. There were days I wouldn’t even drink any water. So that’s my focus right now – more water.

Plus Size Bloggers Weigh In: October 4

It’s been awhile since I participated in a Plus Size Bloggers contest! I remember when my friend Kelly still owned it and I was helping her with the site and the contests and the summer 15 challenge took off…and I wasn’t exactly participating. Kelly said, how do you think that looks to those that are participating if you aren’t doing it?

Hmmm…she definitely had a point there. And then she sold it to my friend Vera and I was ‘let off the hook’ so I stopped participating in the contest. Actually, I can’t even say that I was participating…I was posting a weigh in and that was it. It’s not like I was actually exercising or eating healthy trying to ‘win’ the contest…not that there’s ONE winner – we’re all winners.

Anyways…now that I’m back on track and once again serious about my health I’m ready and actually looking forward to the contest Vera is putting on over at Plus Size Bloggers – Fall 15 Kick Off Tracking Contest! Hurry – there’s still time for you join in on the contest too! Deadline to join is October 11, 2010.

So, here’s my first weigh in (and because I was weighed at my Weight Watchers meeting last night I don’t have a picture to show):
