Goals

One way that I find that makes it ‘easier’ to handle dealing with having such a LARGE amount of weight to lose is by setting small goals and focusing on those instead of the BIG ultimate goal (losing 163 lbs). It’s easier to break things down into smaller easier to reach goals!

Weight Loss Goals:

  • Lose 10 lbs (Goal Met: 1/18/2010)
  • Lose 20 lbs (Goal Met: 2/8/2010
  • Lose 30 lbs (Goal Met: 3/11/2010)
  • Lose 40 lbs (Goal Met: 4/14/2010)
  • Lose 50 lbs (Goal Met: 5/13/2010)
  • Lose 60 lbs
  • Lose 70 lbs
  • Lose 75 lbs in 2010
  • Lose 80 lbs
  • Lose 90 lbs
  • Lose 100 lbs
  • Lose 110 lbs
  • Lose 120 lbs
  • Lose 130 lbs
  • Lose 140 lbs
  • Lose 150 lbs
  • Lose 160 lbs
  • Lose 163 lbs and reach goal weight of 150 lbs

Exercise Goals:

  • Buy a Wii Fit Plus to use for exercise
  • Walk up the ‘Hill of Health’ without dying
  • Join a Gym (Goal Met 4/28/2010)
  • Work with a personal trainer (I’ve kind of sort of done this…she’s worked with me while at the gym working but I haven’t actually hired her to work with me one on one yet)
  • Make it through all 3 levels of Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred
  • Walk 1 mile
  • Walk 2 miles
  • Walk 3 miles
  • Walk 4 miles
  • Walk 5 miles
  • Do a 5k – Walk (Goal Met 4/24/2010)
  • Do a 5k – Run
  • Make it 5 minutes on the Elliptical
  • Make it 10 minutes on the Elliptical
  • Make it 30 minutes on the Elliptical (Goal Met: 5/14/2010)
  • Make it through 1 hour on the Elliptical

Clothes Goals:

  • Get out of and get RID of size 24 jeans (could fit into some size 26 jeans in the start!)
  • Get out of and get RID of size 22 jeans
  • Get out of and get RID of size 20 jeans
  • Get out of and get RID of size 18 jeans
  • Get out of and get RID of size 16 jeans
  • Get out of and get RID of size 14 jeans
  • Get into ‘goal size’ of 12 jeans
  • Get out of size 4x
  • Get out of size 3x
  • Get out of size 2x
  • Fit into a XL
